The KEDA is dedicated to keeping the county’s workforce and business community educated and informed through collaboration with workforce and education partners.

For businesses, the KEDA holds events such as the annual Decision Makers Breakfast, the Annual Meeting, Pacific NW Defense Symposium and seminars, where attendees learn current and relevant information on topics ranging from regional economic forecasts to military impacts on the local economy and marketing basics.

There are a number of resources in the county that individuals can turn to for education and training. Local colleges and training centers, such as Olympic College, Brandman University, NW College of Art and Design, Everest College, and Old Dominion University offer a wide selection of both degree programs and continuing education classes.

Olympic College offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and collaborates with Washington State University to provide degrees in mechanical engineering.
