November 7, 2006 - The WSA is now accepting applications for its 12th annual Industry Achievement Awards. The awards gala will take place March 21, 2007 at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle with keynote speaker Robbie Bach, President, Entertainment and Devices Division, Microsoft Corporation, and emcee Dave Ross, KIRO Radio.

Awards will be given out in the following categories:

• Business Product of the Year
  
• Consumer Product of the Year
  
• Service Provider of the Year
  
• Best use of Technology by a Government Entity or Non-Profit
  
• Technology Innovator of the Year
  
• Breakthrough Technology of the Year
  
  Applications are due by Friday, December 1st, and are available on WSA's web site: CLICK HERE TO APPLY. Companies need not be WSA members to apply, but must be headquartered in the State of Washington.
  
  The WSA's Industry Achievement Awards celebrates companies and agencies which best demonstrate innovation and excellence in technology. From business and consumer applications to contributions to public service, Industry Achievement Award finalists have made significant contributions to the way we work and live. Noted as the tech industry event of the year, WSA's IAA celebration attracts 1,000 business and community leaders who drive the growth of Washington's tech industry.
