    WA State has 103 navigable waterways - rivers, lakes and ocean. Did you know the Longshore & Harbor Worker's Compensation Act applies to your business if you perform government work on "navigable" waterways? WA State has 103 navigable waterways - rivers, lakes and ocean.  For those planning to work on government contracts around these waterways, you need this information to protect your company from injuries, illness or death.


    Instructor and retired Navy Contracting Officer Terry Homburg will define navigable waterways and detail what is required for this act. . Hear from a retired US Navy  Contracting Officer, sharing his direct experience, on dealing with act and the insurance required for it.
