Here are some highlights:
- The SBA’s Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Map is changing July 1. Preview the new map here and contact your PTAC about questions related to future eligibility in this program. Also, check out these HUBzone workshops coming up May 17 for existing certified firms and July 20 for those interested in applying to access the $14 billion in HUBZone contracts each year.
- Some federal contractors and subcontractors must certify annually they are in compliance with Affirmative Action Programs. Click here to learn more. The site features the jurisdictional thresholds and a link to a webinar about the new portal to complete the certification by July 29, 2023.
- Department of Defense SBIR/STTR 23.2 Topic Release is Available now. The Small Business Innovation Research program provides R&D funding to innovators solving our world’s toughest challenges. To find topics and to download the BAA: Visit the DoD SBIR Website. To learn more about SBIR attend this class on May 19.
