DARPA AI Competition Opportunity, Help the U.S. Supply Chain

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is holding an AI for Critical Mineral Assessment Competition. This competition solicits innovative solutions for automatically extracting and georeferencing features from scanned or raster maps in support of the U.S. Geological Survey.
Data from critical mineral assessments is vital to increasing domestic production of critical minerals and reducing our reliance on imports. The goal is to significantly speed up the assessment of the nation’s critical mineral resources by automating key steps in the process.
