    Navy to Lease Bremerton Building for Shipyard Optimization Program

    A four-story building at Sixth Street and Pacific Avenue in Bremerton will be leased to the U.S. Navy starting next spring. Tim Ryan Properties (TRP) announced a long-term lease of up to 10 years with the Department of Navy for 555 Pacific Avenue, currently home to The Spot co-working space and Navy Federal Credit Union. The building will support the Navy's Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP), a major initiative to improve the efficiency of naval operations at the Bremerton shipyard. Tenant improvements, including electrical, HVAC, and security upgrades, will begin in November, with 300 Navy workers expected to occupy the building by April 2024. Tim Ryan, CEO of Tim Ryan Construction, highlighted the partnership as a key part of Bremerton's revitalization efforts.
