Listening Session with Senator Murray’s Office

Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA) is holding an important virtual listening session with Senator Patty Murray’s Office on May 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM PST.

Federal actions that are impacting small businesses have become more frequent and more challenging (deportation actions, freezing federal funds, lost contracts, pending tariffs, etc.). These actions have had a severe impact on many sectors of our economy, the nonprofit partners we work with and especially the small businesses they serve.

We encourage you to take this opportunity to inform Senator Murray's staff about how these decisions are playing out for small businesses in your communities and invite you to share your experiences, your stories, and what support you need in these difficult times.
