Kitsap County’s Department of Community Development (DCD) is excited to announce the launch of Phase 2 of the Permit Review Efficiency Plan (PREP), which brings the 2x6 Review Model to Plat applications starting June 2, 2025. This follows the successful implementation of Phase 1 for Site Development Activity Permits (SDAPs) in March. The 2x6 Review Model is designed to improve the speed and consistency of permit reviews, providing applicants with a predictable process.
